Talk to an Inntel expert
Team Inntel has been shortlisted in an incredible five different categories at the Business Travel People Awards 2024. Let’s hear from our amazing finalists ahead of the ceremony.
Sian Sayward, our Director of People, Partnerships and Strategic Projects – who recently celebrated her 20-year work anniversary at Inntel – has been shortlisted for the Industry Contribution Award. Sian says:
“I’ve had a few career highlights, gaining my MCIPS has to be one of them, and of course taking on the chair role at beam is a standout, having been involved in the association for 20 years. But it wasn’t just about taking on the leadership role for me, it was everything we accomplished as a team during my year in terms of industry collaboration, raising our voice and supporting our members – this is what makes it a standout period of time for me. Also every time I am asked to speak on behalf of either Inntel or beam I am incredibly humbled and grateful for the opportunities to contribute back to an industry that has given me so much over the years.”
Business Travel Team of the Year is another category we are finalists in. Inntel’s Head of Business Travel, Laura Rogers, says:
“This industry is the tool that facilitates in person interactions in an increasingly dispersed world. It’s the key to bringing people together to enhance business success and it’s an honour to be a part of such an interesting industry and of course a wonderful company such as Inntel.”
Sales & Business Development Team of the Year is yet another category Inntel has made it to the shortlist for. What keeps our Head of New Business, Kilianne Clegg, driven to succeed? She says:
“Learning a new skill and problem solving are things that motivate me both personally and professionally. I enjoy a challenge, and in my role, no two clients’ requirements are the same. This variety provides fresh challenges to solve daily. Our industry is fast-paced and changes regularly, so having the support and ability to learn new skills and provide tailored solutions to challenges is rewarding.”
Client Relationship Manager, Nicola Meredith, is shortlisted in the Account Manager of the Year award category. Nicola says:
“The best thing about my job is that no two days are the same; there is always something new to learn and new people to meet. The job keeps me challenged, and the people make it that much more enjoyable. What motivates me is helping clients or colleagues and seeing the results.”
Tiffany Casson is in the running for DE&I Champion. It’s a huge honour, she says:
“Honestly, it just warms my heart to champion DE&I for our great industry. I have a passion to help educate and drive positive change around neurodiversity. Over the past 18 months, I have worked with likeminded people, a strong team and a force for good who share the same goal. I’ve really enjoyed being on panels and webinars to share knowledge but also to learn from others. Whilst my work has focused on the workplace and meetings and events, I am now working on the wider industry plan in business travel to help build and share great practice.”
Congratulations to everyone that has been shortlisted in the Business Travel People Awards. These awards recognise individuals and teams in the industry whose professionalism makes them stand out from their peers. We are very much looking forward to the ceremony in London on 17th September.
