As a B Corp certified company, we’re committed to a sustainable future and contributing to the environmental, social and economic wellbeing of our planet. We work hard to achieve this – not only within our business, but also by supporting our clients and suppliers with achieving their own ESG goals. We also take an active role in influencing industry-wide progress, using our platform to promote sustainability and inclusion across the travel and meetings sector.
We connect people. It’s our responsibility to consider social and environmental impact in everything we do. We’ve got dedicated policies, practices and solutions in place, along with a sustainability roadmap for Inntel, our clients, our suppliers and our industry. Explore our ESG practices in the key areas below.
We take our environmental responsibilities seriously.
We’re committed to making a genuine difference wherever we can. And there’s always room for improvement.
Our mission is to follow sustainability principles for all our own business practices, and to offer innovative solutions to our clients to support them with their own sustainability goals.
For our clients, we will offer innovative solutions to travel, rest and meet better. We’ll help to reduce business travel and meetings in line with their sustainability policies, providing greener alternatives as and when required. We offer a carbon emissions measuring and reporting solution, as well as the option to offset emissions. We’ll also ensure we only work with suppliers who treat their employees fairly and incorporate sustainability into their working practices.
As a business, we will be energy efficient, use clean energy sources and work hard to achieve our net zero roadmap. We’ll reduce waste, recycle where possible, and integrate sustainability into our procurement process by partnering with responsible suppliers and modes of transport. We look after the social and economic wellbeing of our employees and follow the principles of diversity, equity and inclusion throughout our business. We will create a positive impact on our local community and partner with worthwhile charities. We’ll also actively engage with our industry to promote sustainability in travel, meetings and events.
It’s our mission to achieve carbon net zero by 2040.
3 Good health and well-being: We have a dedicated Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) that provides our people with a safe space to discuss any personal or professional challenges that may negatively impact their work performance and mental health. Our new and improved employee handbook clearly outlines how to access this, as well as other well-being support.
8 Decent work and economic growth: As part of our B Corp commitment, we have adopted a ‘people, planet, and profit’ ethos, where we prioritise each of the three equally.
9 Industry Innovation and infrastructure: Our supplier code of conduct policy has been updated to include best practices aligned with the ESG framework we follow as a business, with both our standard requirements and recommendations for suppliers to work towards.
13 Climate action: We provide category 6 business travel emission data and insights to support clients in making informed choices and encouraging carbon-efficient travel and events, supporting long term climate action goals.
17 Partnerships for the goals: Collaborations is key! We developed our Sustainable Venue Programme (SVP) to support and encourage suppliers to follow best practices, as well as highlight these suppliers to our clients.
